This how Liverpool will lineup for the Leicester City clash.

The Reds have been ravaged by injury and could be without Jordan Henderson, Thiago, Fabinho as well as Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez.

Out of those casualties, Salah is the one that should frustrate the most. He picked up COVID-19 after attending a wedding in Egypt, and only has himself to blame for his current situation.

Jurgen Klopp will have to construct a defence out of nothing as Liverpool have the tricky task of cobbling together a serviceable back four.

Rhys Williams and Nat Phillips will be competing with each other to start on Sunday alongside Joel Matip, providing that Matip can prove his fitness during the next week. In one sense, the international break will have helped the former Schalke defender – even if he’s unique in that.

Leicester are currently flying high on top of the Premier League but they’re not without problems of their own. Caglar Söyüncü, Ricardo Pereira and Timothy Castagne are all out injured and those three are big defensive misses for Brendan Rodgers.

However, they are playing well moving forward. Jamie Vardy is in fine form, Wilfried Ndidi is back in the fold while James Maddison is looking dangerous while being complimented by the recently England international Harvey Barnes.

Lets kick off the predicted Liverpool lineup with our goalkeeper, Alisson Becker.

Goalkeeper – Alisson

Alisson could count himself lucky to be in with a chance of playing this weekend after one of his Brazil teammates tested positive for COVID-19. There were fears that him and Roberto Firmino would have to sit this one out, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.

Alisson is a major asset to have as our goalkeeper and he’ll definitely start this fixture.
