Gini Wijnaldum 7/10

Wijnaldum can appear like he doesn’t do much, but that’s the beauty of the man. He hardly ever gets caught in possession and keeps things ticking in that wonderful manner of his.

Took a really painful looking stamp on the ankle from Nampalys Mendy in the second half, but was able to shake it off and play the rest of the game.

Naby Keita 6.5/10

Had an early shot that took a deflection to earn a corner. He tried to work the ball in the tight spaces on the edge of Leicester’s penalty area but found things difficult.

Keita showed his more positive attributes when he spun away from a tackle and put Mane through with a fine pass, only for Evans to foul the Senegal international on the edge of the area.

Appeared to go down with cramp or a little hamstring strain and was replaced with Neco Williams.

Curtis Jones 6/10

When you play in this midfield you need to be comfortable going forward as well as back, and Jones was often found putting a boot in as Leicester tried to break. Jones has yet to really make his mark on the Premier League, but these starts will be good for his development and his performances show flashes of the skill we know he has.
