RB- Trent Alexander-Arnold

The 22-year-old missed Liverpool’s last three matches due to an injury he sustained during the match against Manchester City. A few days back, Klopp said that Alexander-Arnold is getting closer to being back in action and his pre-match press conference, he claimed that the England international could feature this weekend.

Given that the opposition is not one to be taken lightly, there’s a good chance the young full-back will start and he will be eager to put in an impressive performance. However, there’s still a chance of Klopp benching or resting Alexander-Arnold and going with Neco Williams.

CB- Joel Matip

The Cameroonian defender will be a regular starter for the remainder of this season and has done pretty well in the past few games for Liverpool. Matip will undoubtedly be at the heart of the defence and will be expected to prevent the Wolves attackers from being much of a threat. He could also be a threat during set-pieces

CB- Fabinho

Fabinho has been doing really well at centre-back lately and will be starting there on Sunday as well. Along with Matip, he will be tasked with getting the better of the opposition attackers while also trying to initiate attacks from the back through his long balls.

LB- Andy Robertson

The Scottish international has been in fine form lately and even though he sustained a knock against Ajax, Klopp didn’t seem too worried and it shouldn’t prevent him from starting on Sunday. Robertson will be eager to be solid at the back while also trying to grab an assist or two.
