CM- Jordan Henderson

The Liverpool skipper had a fitness issue against Ajax but given that Klopp hasn’t spoken anything about it in his pre-match press conference, there’s a very good chance of him starting against Wolves.

Henderson scored against Nuno Espirito Santo’s team at Anfield last season and will be looking to put in a solid performance from the middle of the park.

CM-  Georginio Wijnaldum

The Dutchman has been producing some really good performances for Liverpool lately and he will probably start this weekend. Wijnaldum has been vital to the team and given the injuries, we are just finding out how much his importance was overlooked.

While there is a good chance of him starting, it may not be much of a surprise if Klopp decides to give him a rest and start Naby Keita. In his pre-match press conference, the Liverpool boss also mentioned that the Guinean international could feature against Wolves.

AM- Roberto Firmino

This is a real tricky one to choose- the third midfield spot. Curtis Jones has been doing quite well for the team lately, scoring the winner against Ajax amongst other things. However, given the fixture congestion, there’s a fair chance of Klopp benching him.

For now, I am going with Firmino to play as a No.10 on Sunday. The Brazilian will be expected to create scoring opportunities for his teammates while also trying to find the net himself if he starts. That said, it won’t be much of a surprise if Klopp opts to play Jones this weekend.
