Liverpool lineup vs Midtjylland: Takumi Minamino gets his chance in attack
Inside-right: Diogo Jota
The man from Portgual can do no wrong at the moment and it’s only right that he’s restored to the lineup after missing out on starting against his former side on Sunday.
Apart from Salah, the man Jota is replacing, the ex-Wolves man is probably the most in-form forward of the lot. With Mane struggling to find the back of the net and Firmino misfiring, Liverpool has turned to Jota to get themselves out of a few sticky situations.
He’s always delivered, and he’ll back himself to deliver on a cold Wednesday night in Denmark. It’ll be interesting to see how he goes in this new-look forward line, especially if Jake Cain or Leighton Clarkson are selected behind him, but Jota shows no signs of slowing down.
This move will allow Salah to pick up a rest ahead of Fulham this weekend, but more crucially ahead of the now-massive clash against Tottenham Hotspur.
