RB – Trent Alexander-Arnold

The 22-year-old is back to the Liverpool setup and should make his first Premier League start since the match against Man City. Alexander-Arnold captained the Reds against Midtjylland earlier this week, the first of probably many matches to come and had a decent outing.

He currently has three assists this season and will be eager to add to that tally on Sunday against Fulham.

CB – Joel Matip

In the last few fixtures, the Cameroonian has proven that when fit, he can put in a solid defensive display. Matip had a fine game against Wolves and also managed to head in Liverpool’s third goal of the game, his first of the season and sixth for the club.

After being an unused sub against Midtjylland, the 29-year-old will be back in the starting XI against Fulham and will be keen on preventing the opposition attackers from being too much of a threat. Matip will also be expected to be an attacking threat during set-pieces.

CB – Fabinho

Ever since Virgil van Dijk got injured, the Brazilian has been proving his versatility through his performances at centre-back. The 27-year-old has done very well so far and he will be partnering Matip in the heart of the defense this weekend.

Fabinho will be looking to be solid defensively while also initiating attacks through his long balls.

LB – Andy Robertson

The Scottish international found limited action against Midtjylland but will be back in the starting XI against Fulham. Robertson has been in fine form lately and will be eager to give a hard time to the opposition attackers while also trying to add to his tally of three assists so far.
