CM – Jordan Henderson

The Liverpool captain had a very good game against Wolves, providing the assist for Gini Wijnaldum’s goal while also having a role to play in the opening goal scored by Mohamed Salah.

Henderson came on as a second-half sub against Midtjylland but will certainly be in the starting lineup against Fulham and will be keen on aiding the team defensively and offensively.

CM – Georginio Wijnaldum

The Dutchman has been proving time and again why he is one of Liverpool’s most important players through his performances in midfield. Wijnaldum netted his first goal of the season against Wolves and following a much-needed rest against Midtjylland, he will be in the playing XI against the Cottagers.

CM – Curtis Jones

This is a very tricky one to pick because Naby Keita is back from injury so is Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who has rejoined full training. However, the latter could well be on the bench with Klopp bringing him on in the second half.

So, it’s really between Keita and Jones for the third midfield spot. The latter has been producing some pretty decent performances and could well be on the path of becoming a starter for the club sooner than expected.

I’m going for Jones to start but it won’t be a surprise if Klopp opts for Keita.
