Boosting the fitness of players by easing the never-ending injury crisis
The current squad of players is filled with a crop of world-class talent. The team has the best players in the world in each of their respective positions. Trent Alexander Arnold and Andy Robertson are the best full-backs in the world. Virgil Van Dijk is the best center-back in the world.
Jordan Henderson, Gini Wijnaldum, James Milner, Fabinho are arguably among the best midfielders in world football. The attacking trio of Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino, and Sadio Mane is considered to be one of the most feared attacking lines across the world, if not Europe.
The all-star team led Liverpool to their sixth European crown, a Uefa Super Cup, the Fifa Club World Cup, and their first-ever Premier League title in 30 years. However, in the current season, the club has been experiencing a prolonged injury crisis as key players such as Virgil Van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Thiago Alacantara, Diogo Jota, and many others suffered from injuries at some stage during this campaign.
This situation has seen Klopp lean towards creativity and play some players out of position or even rely on academy stalwarts such as Curtis Jones and Neco Williams to fill in for the first team.
The crisis has led to a series of inconsistent results with struggles in away form. In the season leaning into 2021, we hope that Santa could provide presents of healthier or safer encounters for players on pitches during matches or in training. We hope that the mythical Christmas magician could boost or enhance players’ fitness and propel the team towards consistency by carrying them on a sled towards silverware.
