RW – Mohamed Salah

The Egyptian international has perhaps been Liverpool’s best player this season with 17 goals in 26 appearances so far. However, Salah’s performances recently have been way below his high standards and he’ll be eager to be back to his best against Burnley this week. Salah doesn’t have a very good scoring record against Clarets with just one goal so far and Thursday would be a very good occasion to net one or two versus them.

CF – Roberto Firmino

He was probably the least effective of the front three against Man United, wasting a couple of pretty good scoring opportunities during the first half. Firmino has a pretty good scoring against Burnley lately, netting four in the last four meetings between the two teams. He will be eager to increase that tally along with creating scoring chances for his teammates this week.

LW – Sadio Mane

The Senegalese forward found a couple of goals against Aston Villa in the FA Cup but failed to find the net against United. The goals haven’t been coming the way they used to in the last couple of seasons for Mane but he still has time to end 20/21 with a good tally. Like his fellow forwards, he’ll be eager to try and find the net and end his team’s goal drought on Thursday.
