RB – Trent Alexander-Arnold

The 22-year-old seems to be on track to get back to his very best as has been reflected in his recent performances. Alexander-Arnold had a goal and an assist against Spurs while producing a fine performance in the London Stadium, starting the counter-attack that led to Liverpool’s second.

He will start against Brighton and will be keen on adding to his assist tally while being vigilant at the back.

CB – Nathaniel Phillips

Joel Matip has been ruled out for the remainder of the season, Fabinho probably won’t be fit to play and Klopp has confirmed that neither of Ozan Kabak or Ben Davies will start against Brighton. Hence, Phillips will keep his spot in the XI.

The 23-year-old had a very good game against West Ham and will be keen on putting in a strong show against Brighton.

CB – Jordan Henderson

The Liverpool captain has so far done pretty well at centre-back and he may have to play there for a few more games. Henderson will certainly be starting in the heart of the defense and will be looking to prevent the likes of Neal Maupay and Leandro Trossard from being too much of a threat.

LB – Andy Robertson

The Scottish international has been in fine form and will be eager to put in a strong showing on Wednesday. Robertson will be keen on adding to his season’s tally of five assists while also being solid defensively.
