CF – Mohamed Salah

The Egyptian international was back among the goals in the Premier League, netting twice against West Ham and taking his season’s tally to 21 in 30 matches. Salah is currently the top scorer in the league in 20/21 with 15 goals and has a great chance of winning his third Golden Boot.

The Egyptian international has netted four in his last three matches and will be eager to score another goal or two when Liverpool play Brighton. Salah has a pretty good record against the Seagulls, scoring five goals in six matches so far.

The Brighton defenders are bound to have a hard time facing him on Wednesday.

CF – Roberto Firmino

The Brazilian started on the bench against West Ham but came on as a sub in the second half and provided the assist for Liverpool’s third goal which was scored by Wijnaldum.

Klopp will certainly start Firmino against Brighton and the Brazilian will be looking to provide scoring opportunities for Salah while also trying to find the net himself. The 29-year-old will most likely function as a second-striker on Thursday.

Firmino hasn’t been able to find the net against the Seagulls since netting twice in the 5-1 thrashing at the Amex Stadium. This week’s fixture would certainly be a fine occasion for the Brazilian to score against them.
