Liverpool take on RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Tuesday night. This is our predicted Liverpool lineup for the clash.

Jurgen Klopp will be under pressure to deliver a result after the damning 3-1 loss to Leicester City on Saturday.

The Reds are now dangerously close to dropping out of the top four following that defeat. Klopp’s team is in fourth, but Chelsea are one point behind Liverpool with a game in hand.

Liverpool lineup vs Leipzig

West Ham are in the same position, while Everton are just three points away from fourth. In short, Liverpool needs a win against Leipzig to boost confidence and they need it today.

It’s looking likely that we’ll be without a few for the game. Fabinho was ruled out of the Leicester fixture due to a small muscle strain, while James Milner limped out of the Foxes loss after just 13 minutes.

Diogo Jota and Naby Keita are closer than ever to making their first-team return, but won’t make be ready for this Leipzig clash.

The German side will be an odd threat. They have no clear-cut forward star – they have five leading goalscorers, at least in the Bundesliga, as Christopher Nkunku, Emil Forsberg, Angelino, Marcel Sabitzer and Yussuf Poulsen all have four.

With three goals and five assists, Dani Olmo has had an excellent domestic campaign and will have to be watched closely.

Alisson

The only man who is going to get picked in goal for Liverpool is Alisson Becker, provided he’s fit. It’s been a tough few weeks for Klopp’s defence, but this man is so important that there’s no chance he won’t be picked.
