Right-wing: Mohamed Salah- 8.5

Liverpool’s primary goal-threat delivered yet again. Despite missing out on a major chance in the first half of the game, Mo didn’t make a mistake with his second chance of the game.

That’s how it goes with players like Salah. You simply cannot afford to offer him a sniff of goal, especially when served on a platter as Sabitzer did in the second half.

Striker: Roberto Firmino- 7.5

It seems like whenever Bobby plays well, the team scores goals. Although he missed a couple of chances in the first 45 minutes, he did perform his main function, which is to pull the strings for this Liverpool side.

Firmino did have a goal disallowed in the first half, as the ball was deemed to have gone out for a goal-kick before reaching the number nine.

Left-wing: Sadio Mane- 8

Sadio looked much more of a threat last night. Constantly terrorising Mukiele on the left-side of our attack. Like Mo, Sadio too missed a good chance in the first half, when his header went over the bar.

His pressing was near non-stop today, and that eventually got him his well-deserved goal.
