CM- Thiago

The Spaniard still has some work to do but has been managing to do okay for Liverpool so far. He had a fine game against Leipzig. Thiago will receive another start this weekend and will be keen on doing well and moreover, having a better ending to the game, unlike the previous Merseyside Derby which saw him sustain an injury that kept him out for a while.

The Spaniard works hard on the pitch but he has to be careful with his tackling and make sure not to commit too many fouls.

CM – Georginio Wijnaldum

The Dutchman could very well be playing his last Merseyside Derby this weekend as he might leave the club following the expiration of his contract. Wijnaldum will be keen on aiding his team defensively and offensively in what’ll be a crucial match for them.

CM – Curtis Jones

Naby Keita is back in training but there’s a good chance of Curtis Jones taking the final midfield slot. The local lad scored his first Liverpool goal against Everton in the FA Cup last season and will be keen on producing a fine performance. Another brilliant strike from distance would certainly do well for Jones and the Reds.
