After suffering their first defeat to Everton at Anfield in over two decades, Liverpool will be eager to grab all three points against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

Jurgen Klopp’s side managed to win 2-1 when the two sides met at Anfield courtesy of goals from Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota.

Liverpool’s performances have been pretty disappointing and things have gone from bad to worse as Jordan Henderson has been sidelined for a while due to an adductor injury.

Liverpool lineup vs Sheffield United

Sheffield United need as many wins as they can if they’re to stand any chance of surviving in the Premier League this season. Despite how Chris Wilder’s side have fared, they shouldn’t be written off.

However, Liverpool seem to be favorites and should manage to put an end to their losing streak this weekend. Now, let’s take a look at the XI that could be fielded by Klopp on Sunday.

Alisson

The Brazilian had to deal with a terrible tragedy as his father died a few days back after drowning and Klopp didn’t seem too sure regarding his availability. However, Alisson will most probably manage to get a place in the starting XI this weekend.

The 28-year-old  will be eager to put in a solid performance against the Blades this weekend and keep his sixth clean sheet in the Premier League this season.

Alisson is a world-class keeper but hasn’t been at his very best lately. Klopp will be hoping to see him be a rock in goal and prevent the Sheffield attackers from being much of a threat.
