CM – Thiago

The Spanish international has become a regular starter for Liverpool now and he will be in the lineup on Thursday. Thiago will be looking to help the team defensively through his tackling while also creating chances for them through his passing.

CM – Georginio Wijnaldum

The Dutchman will be captaining Liverpool in the absence of Henderson and he’ll be looking to work hard on the field as he usually does, helping the team defensively and offensively. Wijnaldum was one of the scorers in the last meeting with Chelsea at Anfield and after seeing his shot saved against Sheffield, he could also try and find the net on Thursday.

CM – Curtis Jones

The teenager has gradually become a regular starter for Liverpool and has done fairly well so far. Jones scored Liverpool’s first goal at Bramall Lane last weekend, his fourth of the season. The 19-year-old will start against Chelsea and will be expected to do as well as he did against the Blades. However, it won’t be surprising if Klopp rotates and decides to start Naby Keita or James Milner ahead of Jones.
