RW – Mohamed Salah

The Egyptian international has done pretty well this season and is well on course to winning the Premier League Golden Boot for the third time. Salah scored one of the best goals of his career against his former team at Anfield in 2019 and he’ll be eager to find the net on Thursday. It’ll be interesting to see if the 28-year-old is able to get the better of the Chelsea backline who have conceded only twice in nine games under Tuchel so far.

CF – Roberto Firmino

The Brazilian had a pretty good game against Sheffield United and it was unfortunate for him to see his goal being given as an own goal. Firmino has had a goal contribution in each of the last four Premier League matches against Chelsea and he will be eager to do the same on Thursday. Diogo Jota will probably make the squad but there’s more chances of him making an appearance as a substitute than getting a start.

LW – Sadio Mane

Mane will need to up his game over the next few weeks or else his position will be under serious threat from Jota. Mane is in poor form, but has a golden chance to put that right.
