Liverpool will face Burnley at Turf Moor on the Premier League’s Matchday 37, and nothing less than the full three points will do. After barely scraping by West Brom on Sunday afternoon, Jurgen Klopp will want a more complete performance from his team in this top-four race. But at the end of the day, all that matters are the points in the table.

Let’s take a look at five players on the Reds who will need to be at their best against the Clarets in order for the team to pick up the three points they absolutely need.

We’ll begin with Roberto Firmino, who came close to scoring again this weekend at West Brom and did a lot of good work on the ball to make himself a nuisance to the Baggies’ defense.

Firmino is one of the most important big-game players in the Premier League, and at this point in the season, every game is a big one for Liverpool.

Of course, the Brazilian No. 9 made his biggest impact in the crucial fixture at Old Trafford last Thursday, scoring twice on either side of the break to help lift the Reds to a 4-2 win.

Firmino will be going up against a stout Burnley defense, buoyed by the excellent center back pairing of Ben Mee and James Tarkowski. Beyond potentially converting a chance, Firmino will need to be at his best on the ball to create for his teammates against a Burnley side that will go all-out defense.
