Divock Origi is a young player who deserves to be at Liverpool for much longer.

First on the list of Liverpool FC players for an extension for this season is center-forward Divock Origi. The 26-year-old Belgian attacker has shown flashes of brilliance with the Reds this season in just three appearances as a substitute.

Despite being a substitute off the bench, you can see that Origi possesses an uncanny ability to score even when the pressure is is on. The forward’s contract will be up after this season, and other clubs are already targeting the young standout. Ultimately, the young lad will have a tough decision to make.

Liverpool’s Divock Orgigi has a peculiar decision.

The Reds’ young center-forward is athletic, talented, and, most importantly, young. His next contract has a strong influence on the story of his career. Should he leave Liverpool, he will undoubtedly become a starter and an excellent frontman for just about any club that could potentially acquire him. However, should he stay as a member of LFC, he will have to wait in the wings to become a starter behind both Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino. With Jota being an entrenched starter for the long haul, Firmino’s future is uncertain between his health and transfer rumors alike. Origi will undoubtedly enter the picture as a starter for manager Jürgen Klopp should Roberto’s career trajectory change. It will be a tough decision for Divock, and hopefully, Liverpool makes him think about it by offering him an extension sooner rather than later. The next player on this list is one of the easiest decisions for both the club and the player.
