Midfielders

James Milner – 7

Milner’s experience and composure on the ball helped mitigate some of the shakiness in the squad’s rough midfield Sunday, with Thiago and Henderson sidelined with COVID and non-COVID-related illness, respectfully. Milner had two key passes, and three shots in the Reds draw.

Morton – 5

With more experienced options sitting on the bench, 19-year-old Morton was entrusted by Jurgen Klopp to start at center midfielder with Henderson sidelined. Unfortunately, the young gun seemed a bit lost on the pitch, failing to make much of an impact, and was eventually booked in the first half before being subbed off early in the second.

Naby Keita – 6

Keita had a decent offensive first half, lobbing a few long-range shots at Lloris (one on target) throughout the frame. However, he struggled in one-on-one battles with the speedy forwards of Tottenham and failed to make any individual impact on either side of the ball.
