Midfielders

Fabinho – 6

Fabinho returned to the midfield rather quietly against Leicester. The majority of the first half of this match was played deep in each teams’ territories, leaving Fabinho little room to make impact. His involvement may also have been stifled by his awareness that he entered the game a booking away from suspension. He was subbed off in the middle of the second half.

Jordan Henderson – 6

Henderson got involved early offensively in the first half with three volley strikes throughout, two of which sailed just over the crossbar. The skipper was much more subdued in the second half before being subbed off.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – 5

Oxlade-Chamberlain had a very reserved, unimpactful game and was subbed early in the second half.
