Midfielders

Fabinho – 7

Fabinho was a key player in Liverpool, completely dominating Crystal Palace in the first 30 minutes of play, but unfortunately started to fall by the wayside as his teammates did in the second half. He did, however, easily slot away the late penalty to secure the win for the Reds. Fabinho finished the match with three shots, two on target, including his goal, and 87% pass success.

Jordan Henderson – 7

This was a stronger outing from Henderson compared to some recent quiet performances. The Skipper threatened on the offensive, firing four shots, including one blocked by Guaita and creating one key pass. He overall looked energetic and involved, a positive trend after seeming a bit tired in a few recent outings.

Curtis Jones – 7

Jones is doing a great job of finding his place on the left side of this Liverpool midfield. He looked extremely comfortable on the ball in the first half and passing, contributing to his final tally of 90% pass accuracy and three key passes. In addition, he played exceptionally well defensively, practically shutting down Palace’s Conor Gallagher and collecting a tackle and one successful interception.   The youngster is consistently developing in a positive direction, which will be crucial for the Reds midfield in the future.
