According to recent reports, Liverpool is linked with a move for Premier League outfit West Ham’s winger. They look at him as a potential replacement for star winger Mohamed Salah.

The player in question is none other than West Ham’s star Jarrod Bowen.

The Hereford-born forward has been in brilliant form for David Moyes’ side this season, and it’s no surprise that Liverpool is interested in him.

The 25-year-old has scored six goals and assisted a further seven in 23 games in the premier league this season.

Primarily used on the right-hand side, Bowen has played the role of a centre-forward also in Antonio’s absence. However, he is also capable of playing on the left-hand side.

WIth Salah not getting any younger at 29 and Sadio Mane’s decline already starting, LFC need to add more depth to their attack.

Divock Origi has been linked with a move away, making Diogo Jota and Takumi Minamino the only backup options for Liverpool.

However, Liverpool is not expected to make a move for Bowen in the January transfer window. Instead, they are looking at Bowen and Raphinia as “long-term” prospects.

How much can Jarod Bowen cost the Reds? According to The Athletic’s Roshane Thomas, West Ham would not consider any offers below £35 million.

The reports also suggest that the winger is “keen” on joining Liverpool.

Even Klopp is said to be a big fan of him, speaking in a press conference, he said,

"“I like Bowen a lot, he made his way up from, was it Hull, if I’m right?"

It seems likely that the Reds will try to get Jarod Bowen from West Hame, with at least one forward expected to arrive in the summer.

But the club has also been linked with a range of attackers from Raphinha to Moussa Diaby to Luis Diaz.

Do you think Jarod Bowen would be a good signing for the Reds?
