It’s a busy day for Liverpool FC fans as the transfer deadline approaches, and the Reds are in top signing form after officially acquiring FC Porto’s Luis Diaz. However, it appears that LFC is not done yet and has their eyes fixed on an extraordinarily young but talented player from Fulham.

Last week, our staff member, Liam Thomas, alluded to this potential signing. But it seems that Jürgen Klopp and company are making a strong push to sign the teenage wonderkid before the deadline is over in the coming days. With that being said, it is apparent that the club is on a one-way mission to capture the EPL title.

If Liverpool FC happens to acquire Fabio Carvalho and Luis Diaz within the span of fewer than 72 hours, the narrative of the club being frugal should come to an end. A combination of Diaz and Carvalho set the Reds up wonderfully to provide a relentless attacking prowess that few clubs in all of the football can match. Moreover, Manchester City sits just 11 points above LFC with a good portion of the season left; it is apparent that the club believes that they can catch them and overtake them. These last-minute all-in signings at the end of the January transfer window indicate that this team will spend cautiously but not recklessly.
