After a long and seemingly never-ending month, Liverpool FC’s Mohamed Salah is back for the Reds. After a spectacular AFCON tournament representing his home nation in Egypt, Salah is wasting no time rejoining his English club.

No less than 24 hours after losing in penalties for the AFCON championship to teammate Sadio Mane’s Senegal, Salah is wasting no time getting back to action after a tournament full of highlights.
Kopites missed Mo Salah at Liverpool, but he still put on a show for them at AFCON.
Despite being away from LFC, Salah carried his home nation of Egypt throughout the entire AFCON tournament.
Despite only having 2 goals in the tournament, he assisted a well-rounded Pharaohs team to the final against his Liverpool counterpart Sadio Mane. Between his brilliant passing and defense’s focusing on him relentlessly, the Egyptian King was set to be the player of the tournament if it was not for a heartbreaking championship loss in penalty kicks. However, he had an important message to his teammates despite the loss after the match.
Which translates to:
"“We played four matches all 120 minutes in about 12 days, but it’s in the past now, we have the games against them next month and inshallah we will take revenge on them.”"
Revenge is on Salah’s mind for national play, but meanwhile, he has a prime opportunity to remind the Premier League of how dangerous the Reds can be this Thursday.
Mo Salah starting would boost Liverpool against Leicester City on Thursday.
Liverpool is set to take on Leicester City this coming Thursday at Anfield. The Foxes have given Jürgen Klopp’s side plenty of grief this season between clashes in both the EFL and Premier League. Last month, the team suffered a 1-0 defeat to Brendan Rodgers’ side in the Premier League. However, for Mo Salah, he quickly improves the fortunes of the team’s scoring capabilities.
One could say that the entire Liverpool side is drastically different than what it was a month ago. Regardless, the talented Egyptian returns with a sour loss in his mouth. Look for him to take out some frustration this Thursday.
