Reports emerged from Spain this week that teenage sensation Yeremy Pino is sitting right at the top of Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group’s wishlist this summer.
The 19-year-old winger has been lighting up La Liga, becoming a mainstay in former Arsenal boss Unai Emery’s Villareal outfit, with whom he helped win the Uefa Europa League last season in an emphatic penalty shootout against Manchester United.
Pino’s options to progress his abundance of talent are endless, however, Liverpool and Manchester City are both said to be frontrunners to sign the exciting talent this summer with a Premier League switch to a bigger club catching the eye of the Spaniard.
According to Spanish news outlet Fichajes, Liverpool will battle it out to sign the youngster this summer but will face stiff competition from fellow Premier League contenders Manchester City and La Liga’s top clubs.

Nevertheless, Liverpool might find it difficult to tempt the youngster out of his cushy contract, with the teenager being tied down at Villareal until 2027.
However, with the futures of Liverpool’s two main attacking options up in the air; Mohamed Salah still yet to sign a new contract, and Sadio Mane’s rumours of a departure intensifying after the arrival of Luis Diaz in January, it seems Jurgen Klopp could be forced to go all-out to bolster his attacking options.
Pino has made 33 appearances for Villareal this campaign, scoring 7 times and assisting 4, highlighting the youngster’s versatility, something which would be key to any move Liverpool would make for him.
The starlet is certainly an interesting talent, who should definitely be considered to reinforce the Red’s already frightening attacking options.
On top of that Transfermarkt, rate his value at £27 million, a price that would suit FSG’s transfer model and light up the eyes of Jurgen Klopp.
