Sadio Mane – 7

Mane struggled to produce anything of quality in the first half but was fully prepared to make the most of the Salah play-in to score the equalizer just after the break. In fact, he made himself much more present overall in the second half. From the defending third to the attacking, Mane seemed to be everywhere. He was subbed late in the second half, and finished with a goal, 85% pass success, and an interception.

Mohamed Salah – 6

With the defensive struggles, Salah spent a lot of the first half in the middle third waiting for the ball and was well contained by Cancelo when he did get it. In the second half, however, he wasted no time threading a beautiful pass to play in Mane for the second equalizer. Other than the assist and one other shot that was deflected off target, Salah was relatively quiet on Sunday.

Diogo Jota – 5

Jota found space in a crowded box for his goal and nearly capitalized on Ederson letting the ball roll onto the goal line in the first half. However, he struggled otherwise with the ball, sometimes being the biggest enemy to Liverpool’s attacks with poor passing decisions and being dispossessed a number of times. Subbed off midway through the second half.
