According to recent reports, Liverpool are looking to sign a German attacker who was deemed not good enough by then West Brom manager Tony Pulis.
The player in question is none other than Germany’s star winger Serge Gnabry.
The German international has been in superb form ever since he signed for the Bavarian giants. In the 163 games that he has played for Bayern Munich, he has scored 61 goals and assisted a further 40.
However, with his current contract coming to an end in 2023, his time at Bayern could come to a halt.

With Mo Salah’s contract situation getting more confusing every day, it is high time that FSG starts looking for a replacement, just in case, the Egyptian wants to leave Anfield.
At the age of 26, Gnabry fits FSG’s description of new signings. He is yet to hit his prime and his playing style is very similar to that of Mohammed Salah. He has also played in the premier league before and will be used to the physical demands of the league.
According to Alan Hutton,
“He’s obviously a very talented football player. He’s done really well at Bayern Munich and with one year left, maybe he’s thinking it’s time for a change. Of course, he would fit into that Liverpool squad with no problem. He’s obviously very technical, he understands, he’s had a good upbringing the last few years at Bayern Munich.”
However, signing him will not be easy. Liverpool are not the only elite club in Europe who are looking to sign an attacker.
With Paulo Dybala set to leave Juventus, the Bianconneri are looking at Serge Gnabry as a potential replacement.
While Liverpool are in a strong position to sign Gnabry, FSG should be ready for a financial battle with Juventus.
Do you think Gnabry will be a good signing for Liverpool?
