Midfielders

Fabinho – 5

Fabinho wasn’t given much to do defensively with Everton set back, and had a few misplaced passes in the first half. The passing improved in the second and he was able to finish with a 90% pass success and a shot off target.

Naby Keita – 6

Keita was involved in a number of promising moments Liverpool weren’t able to cash in on, including creating two chances and firing on shot over the crossbar. However, he was mostly contained in the midfield and finished with 83% pass success and just one tackle.

Thiago Alcantara – 8

The few forward passes that Liverpool managed in the first half came from the feet of Thiago. That trend continued through the second half as Thiago continued to find space and move the ball forward through an extremely crowded Everton defense. He led the field with a stellar 98% pass accuracy, misplacing just two of his 120 passes on Sunday. He also won 3 aerials and had two tackles.
