Forwards

Sadio Mane – 6

Mane had some issues passing in the first half, giving the ball away a number of times. He had a brilliant chance to score in the second half off a pass from Gomez but pulled the open effort wide, and was booked shortly after for a dangerous challenge on Dubravka. He was subbed off immediately after, finishing with 3 shots, one on target, 75% pass success and was dispossessed twice.

Luis Diaz – 7

Diaz’s amazing first touches and footwork allowed him to constantly make space for himself and his teammates throughout. He took four shots, two blocked and one on target, had 86% pass success including two key passes, and worked to get even more possession with a tackle and a clearance.

Diogo Jota – 7

Jota nearly scored a second for Liverpool in the first half off a soaring header that needed to be punched away by Dubravka.

Substitutions

Mohamed Salah (for Mane) – 7
