In light of the growing need for a makeover at Liverpool, the club is assessing a variety of market possibilities aimed at a variety of players from different positions in order to strengthen the squad and compete once more on the biggest stage.

The club’s interest in Jude Bellingham and Matheus Nunes is no longer veiled, with the club pressing hard for the former’s signing and growing more interested in the latter with each passing day.

Whatever the case may be, the forthcoming summer transfer window will undoubtedly be a busy season for the Merseyside club, at least from the looks of things.

What makes it even more intriguing is that the bulk of the names Liverpool is interested in are being pursued by opposing clubs that are in a position to sign them as well as, if not better than, the Reds.

And in line with the rumors, it appears that Liverpool has entered a new signing contest for a top talent who is garnering interest from several elites around Europe.

Liverpool and Manchester United are going to battle it out for World Cup star

According to Metro, Liverpool has seen promise in French prodigy Randal Kolo Muani, the World Cup sensation who had the entire world on edge with his once-in-a-lifetime performance against Argentina.

Since his score in Qatar, the player has been in excellent form and is performing admirably for Eintracht Frankfurt, where he has 9 goals and 10 assists in 19 Bundesliga games.

The German club has acknowledged the desire he is generating from teams and had previously valued him at 80 million Euros, but with his stellar play, they are now wanting a whopping 100 million Euros to let him leave.

Apart from Liverpool, Manchester United is also interested in Kolo Muani, and with persistent speculations of rumored takeovers of both clubs by middle eastern investors willing to back them up with large monies, the banks will be broken for the Frenchman.

Kolo Muani is undeniably one of the finest young players in the world right now, and his addition would likely help Liverpool shore up its offensive unit, which has been lacking big time this season.
