The only way Jurgen Klopp would ever leave Liverpool

I’ve said it countless times and I will say it again, Jurgen Klopp is an excellent manager. He is one of my favourite managers of all time, but of course, he, like everyone else, has his weaknesses. He’s not perfect, not in the slightest. There’s not a lot he needs to correct, but there are definitely things that we are seeing this season that need to change as soon as possible if we are looking at a better end to the season than what we currently anticipate.

I’ve explained that quite a few times, so I won’t go into much detail here. But, the club still loves Klopp. They still back Klopp. The fans are by his side as well, but it’s clear he needs to change a few things and he needs a few signings.

If there is one way, according to Ben Jacobs of Team Talk, that Klopp would ever leave Liverpool, it would be if he actually wants to leave, on his own accord. The club will not sack him, they are not even considering it as an option.

Of course, there were reports that Luis Enrique was contacted by Liverpool should Klopp decide to leave the club, but we all know by now: Klopp loves Liverpool. He knows things are wrong. But he knows he’s the one responsible for fixing them. The German tactician knows how to fix adversities, and the way he’s built this club since his arrival last decade, is truly mesmerizing, and Liverpool and all their fans love him for it. I don’t think he’s leaving.

Yes, a lot needs fixing, but I think Klopp would never get the sack. He’d instead get the trust from the higher-ups, the players and the fans, and if he sees that the situation is too bad for even him to fix, I think only then will we see Klopp consider leaving the club.

I don’t think any situation is bad enough for a manager like Klopp to fix. All he needs is a few changes in coaching principles, his tactics, and everything will be fine. It’s Jurgen Klopp, after all, you know?
