To say the least, Liverpool is obsessed with Jude Bellingham. And, to be really honest, the player has demonstrated why every elite club should be crazy about him. You don’t often encounter such exciting players at the youthful age of 19, do you?
The teenager already wears the captain’s armband at Borussia Dortmund, where he has progressed from a young prodigy to a world star, and has provided excellent service over the years. He is now thought to be seeking for the next step in his career. And, as predicted, he is being pursued by a slew of clubs eager to land him in their respective teams.
Liverpool is as interested in him as everyone else, if not more so, and the Reds are said to be doing everything they can to persuade him. With increasing popularity and pursuit, the bidding war for Bellingham will be ferocious.
The Reds are stockpiling their wealth to cover the player’s asking price, which Dortmund is rumored to have set at a lower threshold below which the bidding wouldn’t even begin.
A major club that is also interested in Bellingham has supposedly decided how much they are ready to pay to sign him.
Real Madrid have reportedly piled up a hefty sum to sign Jude Bellingham
It is widely assumed that one of Liverpool’s main rivals for Bellingham would be Real Madrid, who have already snatched Aurelien Tchouameni this summer. The Spanish team hasn’t spent much money on transfers since signing the Frenchman, and they’re said to be saving up for a move to Bellingham right now.
According to Marca, Florentino Perez, who is also known to be a big fan of the player, is willing to pay 100 million Euros plus 30 million in variables as Madrid’s offer to Borussia Dortmund.
Bellingham is rumored to be more in favor of the concept of starting a fresh chapter in his career by moving back to his own country, but given Liverpool’s strong likelihood of losing out on Champions League or any European football given the current league standings, it might be a significant turning point.

Furthermore, while the Reds are very interested in him, the price they are ready to give is yet unknown, since the club has often struggled with the owners to get finance for transfers. So it’s another thing that may go wrong for Liverpool, which Real Madrid is set to exploit.
