Liverpool’s dynamics are shifting with breakneck pace. The club is thinking about a variety of matters in light of the decisions that will be made in the coming months, and nearly no players, with the exception of a few essentials, are untouchable.

The Reds are preparing a significant squad overhaul as they continue to pursue big names such as Jude Bellingham, N’Golo Kante, Mason Mount, Matheus Nunes, and a long list of other European talents.

Along with it, there is a list of players who must be shown the door in order to create room for others who will be welcomed. A player like that is supposedly at the center of a prospective swap deal in which Liverpool might be engaged as the season comes to a close.

Liverpool wants Portuguese star in exchange for Luis Diaz

Luis Diaz hasn’t at his best in the red jersey recently due to a number of injury-related issues. His future at the Merseyside club does not appear to be good, as the player may have slid down the ranks in Jurgen Klopp’s selection.

In light of that, and according to Milan-based sports news site CalcioMercato, Rafael Leao, a Portuguese wonder who gained notoriety earlier this season and put up a great performance in Portugal’s somewhat disappointing World Cup campaign, is on the verge of leaving AC Milan as his demand from top European teams continues to grow.

I don’t believe Leao has to be described, but he is a tough runner who, despite his young age, is frighteningly precise and pinpoint with his shooting and dribbling on the wing.

According to CalcioMercato, while Milan are likely to prefer a cash-only offer for Leao, Liverpool, who have been widely associated with the player, might push for an exchange trade by giving Luis Diaz.

Diaz, on the other hand, is not totally out of Liverpool’s plans. The guy was just signed about a year ago and hasn’t even gotten the greatest opportunities he deserves, but he’s excelled in what little time he’s had.

Yet I wouldn’t dispute that the chance of signing the hottest prospect in global football in return for a player whose absence hasn’t made the already struggling team any worse would be an offer worth carefully considering.
