The rumors never stop swirling around Liverpool as the prospects of players coming and going, deals being made and more means there’s always something to talk about. We’ve rounded up some of the big ones such as Luis “Lucho” Diaz potentially going to Barca? Read on.

Lucho won’t being leaving Anfield for Spain – While there have been talks that the Catalan giants have a firm interest in Diaz, Liverpool have no intention of making a move.

There was a possibility of Raphinha coming back this way but that won’t be enough to sway the Reds either.

Lucho will continue being an integral part of the Liverpool attack going forward and that is the correct decision by the club.

LFC considering extending VVD beyond 2025 – Like Lucho, Virgil Van Dijk is a crucial piece to the puzzle. While he is now into his thirties, that has not stopped him from regaining his World Class form and leading from the back once again.

This resurgence has given the club the confidence to look into extending him further at Liverpool. The club Captain playing at an insanely high level, this seems like logical business.

He has the ability to age gracefully because of his football IQ and ability to read opposing teams. I’d say an extension through maybe 2027 would be ideal for both sides?

Club wants to extend Jurgen Klopp again – The boss is set to see his current deal expire in 2026 after he signed a fresh long-term extension. However, even 2 1/2 years out from the deal expiring, Liverpool want to give him fresh terms.

While nothing seems imminent on this front, it would not be a bad thing at all if Klopp wanted to extend his stay. A lot would depend on where the squad was in the next two seasons but if the boys are maximizing their potential, I could see Klopp staying.

If not, perhaps making a run at Xabi Alonso would be the next best step as he has been doing incredible work in Germany with Bayer Leverkusen.

Goncalo Inacio could be a prime January target – There is no secret that Liverpool have needed to reinforce the defense for awhile now. While VVD has returned to form, injuries and lack of form by his compatriots means fresh blood is needed.

Insert the Portuguese young star here. Inacio is a young , left-footed defender that is confident both on the ball and off it.

He would be a perfect addition to the club. Liverpool are said to be strongly considering triggering his release clause to get a deal over the line sooner than later. Let’s hope this one gains traction.
