Liverpool are working hard to find a replacement for Mohamed Salah. They have already captured Victor Munoz from Osasuna, and are being linked with Yan Diomande.

The Reds should also be looking at alternatives to the RB Leipzig player, in case the move does not come to fruition.

3 Yan Diomande alternatives Liverpool must consider now

Bradley Barcola

Paris Saint-Germain will be reluctant to sell one of their star players. However, Bradley Barcola is being linked with the Reds along with the likes of Arsenal, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich.

Barcola has been a key part of PSG's back-to-back Champions League victories. Reds fans will know all about him as he set up Ousmane Dembele's goal that secured a 4-0 win over them in the competition this year.

The French international spent much of the latter stages of last season coming off the bench. He may want a transfer to ensure that he is a regular starter. Barcola is only 23 and will want more game time.

Liverpool has just had a disappointing campaign under Arne Slot. However, they still finished fifth, which qualified them for the Champions League. This will help in potentially signing Barcola, as he would not want to be playing anywhere else other than European soccer's premier competition.

Andoni Iraola will be expected to get the Reds back to challenging for the Premier League title again.

Therefore, if they can prevent Barcola from joining the holders Arsenal, then this will boost their chances next season.

Yankuba Minteh

Diomande favors playing on the left wing, and so does Liverpool's recent recruit, Munoz. It would be wise for the club to target a right-winger to replace Salah. Yankuba Minteh of Brighton & Hove Albion could be an option for the Reds.

Minteh scored three goals with four assists in 34 Premier League games last season. However, he is only 21 and has the potential to step up at a bigger club like Liverpool.

Matias Fernandez-Pardo

Although he is predominantly a center-forward, Matias Fernandez-Pardo could be a good option for the Reds.

He can also play wide on the right and left. Hugo Ekitike is expected to be out until at least December with his Achilles injury. Alexander Isak has failed to live up to expectations since arriving from Newcastle United. Therefore, it would be wise for Liverpool to bring in another striker.

Fernandez-Pardo scored eight goals with five assists in 29 Ligue 1 games for Lille last season. The 21-year-old Belgian international is being linked with all the top European clubs, including Liverpool.
