The full official launch of the Adidas Liverpool 2026-27 away kit is here and is set for official release tomorrow, Wednesday July 29, 2026. Promotional images have surfaced online, giving Liverpool supporters a sneak peek into what the Reds will be wearing on the road this season. Leaked by @KamilBerberler on x.com, the two new pictures feature midfielder Florian Wirtz and 17-year-old English forward Rio Ngumoha.

It always feels anticlimactic when any new kit is revealed before the launch and is almost like something is being taken from us. It’s similar to when someone ruins the ending of a movie you’ve been waiting all summer to watch or if your parents let you open your Christmas presents the night before; sure it’s fun at the time, but you are left with nothing in the morning.

A pure white kit with red accents

From the “preview” we have seen, it appears to be a superb looking white away kit – the first white jersey since the 2023-24 campaign; but even then half of that jersey was bright emerald green. Last season’s jersey was more of a cream or off-white, so the return to pure white has to be a symbolic reset; a much needed one at that, considering the club was lucky to make Champions League football after limping across the line in the final few games of the season.

The kit features the Adidas exclusive arm-length three-stripe sleeves in Liverpool red as well as the retro three-leaf Adidas Trefoil logo found opposite of the Liverpool crest on the chest. The clean white works in tandem with red accents and gives the kit an aesthetic that pops. The Trefoil logo has made a deserving comeback this year and it seems it’s here to stay for the foreseeable future. The shorts did not get revealed in the leak but surely we can expect the three stripes down both sides of the shorts to run seamlessly down from the jersey.

The new goalkeeper kit has also drawn some attention on social media. It is purple with black sleeves and pays homage to the 1994-95 shirt worn by David James. Alisson Becker and Giorgi Mamardashvili should have no problem stepping into that “look good, play good” mentality.

New kit for a new era

Liverpool are releasing the new away kit at an ideal time for the news cycle to keep the excitement building as the season fast approaches under new manager Andoni Iraola. The Reds pre-season tour in the United States is underway and the squad just played their first friendly on Saturday against Sunderland in Nashville, resulting in a 4-3 victory. The Reds will hope to ride this momentum into their next match against Wrexham at Yankee Stadium this Thursday.

What fans can expect tomorrow

The kits should be available tomorrow for purchase on the Liverpool FC official store and Adidas sites with authentic, replica and kids’ versions to be included directly following post launch.

New kit launches are always an exciting time of the year for supporters as they mark the beginning of a hopeful new season and campaign. Whether you are planning to wear it at Anfield, in the away end on opening night at St. James’ Park, or just casually while at home or around town, the kit looks comfortable and timeless. Keep an eye on the official channels first thing tomorrow.
