Despite there still being a few months worth of action left in the 2024/25 season, Liverpool transfer rumors are gaining steam and the future continues to be in flux.
While the club has yet to clarify the futures of players like Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold, they are clearly making arrangements to reinforce at the worst, and possibly replace as needed.
Much like Southampton became a "feeder" club to Liverpool, it appears that Bournemouth might be the next Premier Club punching above its weight to get poached by the Reds.
Defensive or Attacking help an option
The Cherries boast two players that are reportedly very intriguing for Liverpool as players. The first is the young left-back Milos Kerkez who has been strongly linked to the club and could be a perfect long-term heir to Andy Robertson.
Kerkez is an attacking fullback that has lots of potential to become one of the very best in England, if not all of Europe.
Arne Slot should be salivating at the chance to scoop up the Hungarian defender if possible. He would instantly make Kostas Tsimikas expendable which is not an issue at all.

However, if the Reds want to go a different direction and refresh the attack, Antoine Semenyo is an option.
He has 14 G/A this season for Bournemouth as he is one of their most consistent threats in attack. Pairing him with the talent at Liverpool could see him hit a new level at 25 years old.
He can play centrally or out wide so he would bring some versatility to the Reds attack that would be an ideal addition to the fluid Slot system.
Ben Doak going the other way?
It's being bandied about that the young talented Scottish winger Ben Doak could be used as a piece in a deal for one of the two above players.
Doak, who is still seen as one of the brightest young talents in British football is somehow only 19-years old.
He's currently on loan in the Championship with Middlesbrough where he has made 24 appearances (21 starts) and scored 3 goals to go with 7 more assists.

He's gaining such valuable experience this season that many would think he could have been an option to utilize in the Liverpool first team in 2025/26.
Having said all of that, it seems the club would be willing to part ways with Doak if it meant seeing Kerkez or Semenyo don Liverpool red. I'm not sure I agree with it, especially in the case of Semenyo who is already in his prime years.
He's been in and around the club for a few years now and knows what is expected. Granted, the other two have been performing at a high level in the Premier League which gives them a leg up.
In a perfect world, the club would just pay a straight fee to the Cherries and we keep Doak and add them all or both to the club next season. The upper echelon at the club seems to think otherwise, so this needs to be monitored.
