One of the Premier League's most historically chaotic fixtures lived up to the hype once again. Following a rather drab first half, all heck seemingly broke free in the second frame, where cards, tempers and goals were abound.
In the end, goals from Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike were just enough for Liverpool to secure an away win over Tottenham by a tight 2-1 margin.
Spurs had Xavi Simons and Christian Romero both sent off, while the Reds saw Isak cruelly come off injured seconds after scoring his goal.
In the end, it was an important three points, but how much will it hurt them going forward? Here's how Liverpool rated in the enthralling victory.
Alisson Becker 6.5/10 - Not his greatest showing, but he did make some fine stops and deflections as Spurs were pushing for an equalizer.
Conor Bradley - 6/10 - The Northern Ireland international was solid in his work once again. He brings a defensive stability to the right-back slot that should not be overlooked.
Ibrahima Konate - 6.5/10 - The Frenchman had an up and down showing in this one. Caught out of position on more than one occasion and picked up a yellow. However, made some crucial stops late on that helped get the win over the line.
Virgil van Dijk - 7.5/10 - Was a constant source of decisive headed clearances and he covered side-to-side better than we have seen from him this season. Kept his cool during a tense and emotional final 15 minutes.
Milos Kerkez - 6/10 - The Hungarian kept putting himself in dangerous positions in the final third, but his service and decision making left a lot to be desired. Worked hard, but needed better end product.
Curtis Jones - 7/10 - Solid work when in possession for most of the match. However, gave the ball away cheaply more than once in the hectic final minutes. Overall though, progressive and composed as ever.
Ryan Gravenberch - 6.5/10 - Was not his dynamic best in this one, as the physicality of the match did not appear to suit him on this night. Some crucial clearances and cutouts, and got forward when he could.
Alexis Mac Allister - 6/10 - This could have been higher if one of his fine forward runs were picked out in the first half. As it were, could not put his stamp on this match, but worked hard throughout.
Dominik Szoboszlai - 7/10 - Started off the match in the attacking midfielder role where he was looking to find a way through unsuccessfully. Pivoted to fullback duties after halftime and was solid as he always is in that spot.
Florian Wirtz - 8.5/10 - I thought he was brilliant in this one. Confident and dynamic ball carrying at all times. His intricate passing and link-ups were on point. Beautifully weighted ball to Isak for his first league assist. This is what Liverpool paid for.
Hugo Ekitike - 7/10 - That's three straight Premier League matches with a goal for the Frenchman. His looping header was more about desire than ability, although it was a tough angle. Not much impact outside of the goal though.
SUBS

Alexander Isak - 7/10 - Such an unfair sport at times. Took his goal extremely well with a first-class finish but got what appears to be a nasty injury in the process. Hopefully it's not as bad as it looked.
Jeremie Frimpong - 6.5/10 - The returning Dutchman wingback looked eager to get forward and make things happen. His deflected cross led to the winning goal. Good to see him back in the fold. Bloodied by Richarlison at the end, but he'll be alright.
Federico Chiesa - N/A - Came on in the final ten minutes and just helped get the result over the line.
Andy Robertson - N/A - On for the final minute and a half. A proper shift.
Trey Nyoni - N/A - Like the others, no time to do much of anything.
