Liverpool suffered their 11th Premier League defeat of the season on Sunday as they succumbed to a 3-2 defeat to their bitter rivals Manchester United.

It also marks the first time in a decade that United have done the league double over the Reds. The performance overall in this one from Arne Slot's side was not up to par for a match of this magnitude.

A few players had some bright moments, but as a whole, it left a lot to desired. Let's see how Liverpool rated in the loss at Old Trafford.

Freddie Woodman - 6/10 - He was very unlucky for the first goal that was deflected in, but probably should have done more on the second. Some weak passes throughout, a few good strong hands and a third goal conceded.

Curtis Jones - 6/10 - He was fine in the right-back role for this one. Solid enough when called upon. Did not offer a whole lot going forward, but his intent was there at least.

Ibrahima Konate - 5.5/10 - It was not a banner day for the Frenchman and it's performances like this that will not help him at the negotiating table. Surprisingly weak at times in this one, but improved on a rough opening half.

Virgil van Dijk - 6/10 - Was caught flat-footed a few times in this one, but was able to dominate the air when the moments came his way. Not an elite showing, not awful either.

Andy Robertson - 5.5/10 - He tried to make things happen going forward, but his final quality was just not there. Was always scrambling in defense and never felt truly comfortable out there.

Alexis Mac Allister - 5/10 - He was one the of the players Liverpool needed to shine and he did not come close. Shaky passing range throughout and did not offer the same steel we've seen in recent times. Outplayed by the United midfield.

Ryan Gravenberch - 6.5/10 - I thought he was one of the better players on the pitch for Slot. He carried forward and tried to make things happen when he could while also being solid enough in breaking up some play and focused turning defense into attack quickly.

Dominik Szoboszlai - 7/10 - A brilliant solo run and classy finish to open the scoring for the Reds. His deliveries into the box were not his best work, but there were some dangerous chances. Max effort showing as always from the Hungarian.

Jeremie Frimpong - 6/10 - Did not offer much of anything for large swathes of the match, but grew into importance as things went on. Did not make enough runs in-behind to trouble the United defenders.

Cody Gakpo - 6/10 - His rating was going to be much lower, but putting the ball in the back of the net, no matter how simple it was, must count for something. Outside of that, not much to see from the Dutchman today.

Florian Wirtz - 5.5/10 - Had to fill the unexpected Alexander Isak hole in the lineup and could not do it. Had minimal influence on things which is a shame coming off a fine outing last weekend.

Milos Kerkez - 5/10 - Made one decent challenge on a United breakaway but after coming on for Robbo, did not offer a lot going forward.

Rio Ngumoha - 6/10 - He did not shy away from the moment and was taking on defenders the moment he got on the ball. Took a threatening shot, but probably could have squared. His willingness to make things happen is a huge asset.

Federico Chiesa - N/A - Not enough time to do much of anything other than disagree with his teammates.
