Wednesday will see Liverpool traveling to the French capital to square off with the runaway Ligue 1 leaders, Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League Round of 16.
The Parisian side has been in fine form for the majority of the season, although they have shown some vulnerabilities in this competition.
There are no crippling major injury issues outside of Conor Bradley and Joe Gomez for Liverpool to deal with so it should be nearly all hands on deck for Slot and his staff. Let's see how the Reds could lineup for this first leg away from home.
Goalkeeper: Alisson Becker
Defenders: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson
Midfielders: Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch, Dominik Szoboszlai
Forwards: Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota. Luis Diaz
Possible Subs: Harvey Elliott, Curtis Jones, Kostas Tsimikas, Cody Gakpo, Darwin Nunez, Wataru Endo
Alisson as always is a lock and he will need to be at his best to deal with the the potent wingers that PSG will be fielding in this one.
Following an unusual week of rest in the heart of the season, Alexander-Arnold and Konate should be well rested and raring to go to make an impact. Trent in particular will need to be on his guard defensively.
Van Dijk also should benefit massively from the week off and his composure will be needed in a hostile environment against a quality foe.
The midfield three is the best trio we have seen in Slot's midfield this season as all three guys have had their times in the sun.
Mac Allister will be tasked with being the tempo setter and connection between the back and attack. Gravenberch is going to be charged with patrolling the whole area just in front of the defense and it won't be easy with all the firepower PSG has at their disposal.
Szoboszlai has begun adding consistent goal contributions to his game and this will be another shot for him to leave a lasting mark on proceedings.
Salah of course starts as he is probably the most in-form player in the world right now. Diaz will be key going against Achraf Hakimi and keeping the right side of the PSG team occupied. Cody Gakpo missed training Tuesday so I don't think it's reasonable to have him start this one.
Jota's typically good finishing could be a big asset in a match that has the potential to see a lot of chances created on both ends.
Nunez and Jones could be gamechangers off the bench and if given a shot, perhaps even Federico Chiesa? Slot will have plenty of options to choose from.
