These three players could make for key additions to the Liverpool squad in the January transfer window if deals can be completed.

2. Johan Bakayoko - Winger - PSV

I have voiced full support for Liverpool to extend Mohamed Salah for multiple years as he is still clearly our best player.

Having said that, at some point, an understudy or heir needs to be brought into the fold. We thought that might have been Federico Chiesa but he has once again been ravaged by injuries and has not come close to getting his Reds' career off the ground.

The 21-year old Belgian has been in fine form for PSV once again this season as he has recorded 6 goals and 2 assists across the Eredivisie and Champions League.

His quick feet and dynamism on the ball would make him a perfect complement to Salah for Slot who would love to grow Bakayoko's skillset within his system.

Playing in a side like Liverpool would certainly see his goal contributions skyrocket as he would not be the driving force in attack right away, rather a very dangerous and talented supporting piece. Get him to Anfield.
