Arne Slot's overhaul of the current Liverpool squad is showing no signs of slowing down. Here is what the club got up to over another hectic weekend.
Hugo Ekitike
It appears Liverpool's striker of the future is on his way to Anfield. There has been rumored interest in Hugo Ekitike for a long time, but negotiations between Liverpool and Eintracht Frankfurt picked up this weekend, with minimal fuss.
Per various sources, an agreement was reached between the two clubs in recent days, with the exact day dependent on which source is being utilized.
In summation, the Frenchman will arrive at Anfield imminently after agreeing a 6-year contract, the figures of which have not been definitely reported at the time of this being published.
The reported fee has varied from outlet to outlet, but taking all reliable sources into account, it is likely in the region of £69 million guaranteed and a further £10 million in add-ons, the details of which have not fully been revealed yet.
Fabrizio Romano reported Ekitike is scheduled to travel on Tuesday for his medical, though it remains to be seen if he will join Liverpool on their upcoming tours.

Alexander Isak
There is still so much uncertainty surrounding a potential move for Alexander Isak, though one thing is for certain: Liverpool are very interested in the forward and would move quickly to bring him in should the door for his exit be opened.
Newcastle's decision to withhold Isak from their pre-season fixture this weekend against Celtic certainly did nothing to quell speculation surrounding him.
Manager Eddie Howe stated that the decision to send him home was Howe's own and due to the speculation around him, referencing discussions he has had with Isak about his future.
On Monday, following news of Ekitike being Liverpool-bound, Ian Doyle stated that Liverpool are still on alert about Isak and that, while it is unlikely, there is a future where both Isak and Ekitike are brought to Anfield this summer, a sentiment Lewis Steele also shares.
Furthermore, Ben Jacobs said that this interest is not going away unless a new contract is signed, opening the door to a scenario where this drags out all summer or even into future transfer windows.
It is interesting that no Liverpool journalist has fully shut this down after the Ekitike news. Until this happens, it seems reasonable for Liverpool fans to continue to monitor this.

Luis Diaz
As things stand, Luis Diaz is the Liverpool player closest to departing the club, with Bayern Munich heavily linked to the forward.
There was more reporting that detailed the Bavarians' interest in Diaz this weekend, though seemingly another bid has not been submitted for him.
German coverage from reporters like Florian Plettenberg have claimed that Diaz is hoping to leave Liverpool and has made this desire clear to the club.
From the Liverpool end, Ian Doyle stated that they are 'bracing' for a fresh approach from Bayern but that they are still not interested in letting the Colombian depart unless they receive an approach that is 'impossible to turn down', a stance that has been parroted by sources close to the English club all summer.
At this point, it appears it is up to Bayern to display their intent with a lucrative bid that will force Liverpool's hand, otherwise he will not be joining the Bundesliga club.

Rodrygo
Reportedly tied in with the future of Luis Diaz is Liverpool's interest in Rodrygo.
Over the weekend, various reporters such as Loic Tanzi, Fabrice Hawkins and Ben Jacobs presented the idea that, should Diaz depart, then Rodrygo will be pursued as his replacement.
This is largely the extent of any reporting linking the Brazilian to the club at the minute and it is unclear if or when this transfer could develop, as it is dependent on so much.
Beyond just the hypothetical move for Luis Diaz, it is also still unclear if Rodrygo wants to depart Real Madrid, with Fabrizio Romano stating that he hopes to discuss his future with Xabi Alonso before making any kind of decision.
Lewis Steele stated the same, that there is interest but any firming of the interest is dependent on outgoings.
In the hierarchy of transfers to watch for Liverpool fans, Rodrygo is likely near the bottom but that is not to say there is not a possibliity it comes to fruitition. It is just not as far along as other rumored moves at the moment.
