With a heavy summer of incomings projected, Liverpool may have to make some space in the dressing room.

Irish fan favourite Caoimhin Kelleher has already departed for Brentford and a few more could be joining him in this wild and winding summer. However, there are several players rumored to be leaving Anfield.

Here are three players who could be departing but with reasons why they should stay a Red.

Luis Diaz

Colombian wide man Luis Diaz is a wanted man this summer, with rumours of his relatively low weekly wage getting parties interested. The wide man has been here three and a half years and has two years left on his current deal.

Diaz initially had piqued the interest of Spanish giants Barcelona but has recently caught the attention of a number of Saudi clubs, including legitimate interest from Al Nassr.

The forward has had arguably his best season ever, with seventeen goals in all competitions, including fourteen in the league. This season also saw Diaz grab his 100th senior goal.

Although competition with Cody Gapko has ramped up this season, largely due to Arne Slot's preference for the Dutchman to operate in wider areas than Jurgen Klopp, Diaz has been excellent from both wide and as a number nine.

His breakthrough as a No. 9 was likely unplanned but injuries and misfiring strikers gave him the chance and it was a chance he took.

The Champions League demonstrated how well it worked as Diaz grabbed a stunning hattrick against then German champions, Bayer Leverkusen.

This added string to his bow gives Diaz even more opportunity for minutes and to add to his ever growing reputation.
