When we look back on Liverpool's 2024/25 Premier League triumph, the normal superstars will be mentioned. Mohamed Salah was scoring and assisting goals for fun. Virgil van Dijk was still the best defender in the world.
Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch both hit world class levels in the midfield to steer the ship towards an inevitable crown.
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson and even Arne Slot will need to be mentioned. However, there are some players that were important parts of the title-winning machine and deserve their flowers.
With that in mind, let's take a look at three unsung heroes that played a part in Liverpool winning their 2nd Premier League title in 5 seasons.
3. Caoimhin Kelleher
There was a stretch this season where Alisson was out injured for an extended time and No. 1 keeping duties fell to the Irishman.
For his part, Kelleher rose to the occasion and kept the ship more than afloat before the Brazilian returned from injury and has not looked back.

If he had dropped his level even a little bit, there would have been no early title celebrations for Liverpool as Kelleher had 4 clean sheets from 10 Premier League appearances. He was in goal for huge wins over Aston Villa, Manchester City, Chelsea and a draw with Arsenal.
That's a brutal grouping to face as a keeper and he did so with flying colors. He has proven himself once again to be the best deputy keeper in the world and it will be interesting to see what the club does with him.
For now, he can celebrate and sip a drink knowing he played a huge role in the Reds securing championship glory.
