3. Sophie Haug - F

Liverpool's No. 10 up-top, the 24-year old Norwegian Sophie Haug was the player that was finishing a lot of the attacking moves created by the first two players on this list.

Haug netted nine goals from 24 appearances in all comps in 2023-24 and she was the focal point often in the attack.

Haug was typically partnered up top with teenager Mia Enderby, but it was Haug that carried the bulk of the scoring load for Liverpool. 2023/24 was also her first season at Liverpool following a successful two-year stint in Italy with AS Roma.

She has been a regular starter at the senior level since the age of 17 when she played 20 times and scored 15 goals for LSK Kvinner to power them to the first of three consecutive Norwegian top flight titles.

Haug is very good in the air and excels at hold-up play to have her side play through her in the attack. Yet, she is also able to find the channels and exploit them when the moments arise from any angle.

She is truly an all-around forward that is going to be key going forward. These three ladies being 26 and younger bodes well for the immediate and long-term viability of the Reds competing.
