Diogo Jota
With all the buzz surrounding Salah, Diaz and Nunez, the Portuguese finisher has somewhat been forgotten. Through no fault of his own he missed the run-in of the season because of injury and as a result his name has not been at the forefront of our minds.
Having said that, he is still here. His clinical finishing was missed at various points over the last few months as the Reds attack went flat at the worst possible time.
Looking ahead to the new season with Slot, Jota's positional versatility across the front line in combination with his supreme scoring instincts means he might be a crucial asset.
This would be especailly true if one or both of Diaz and Nunez did stunningly depart. Even if they don't, it will never be a bad thing to have more goal scorers. Jota could push Diaz, Nunez and Cody Gakpo to be the best versions of themselves.
Heck, with a whole new coaching staff coming in, Jota might fancy himself with a shot to become a First XI regular.
