Ryan Gravenberch

Of the four Liverpool midfield signings last summer, it was Gravenberch that would go on to have the least recognition amongst his peers.

While he played nearly 40 times, it never seemed like he was given a proper chance to find his rhythm. He was in and out with injuries or just pure selection from Jurgen Klopp.

The closing weeks of the season saw the young Dutchman play some of his best ball at Liverpool as he showed flashes of the high-ceiling we all know is there. Now, with his countryman coming in, he could have a real shot to reestablish himself.

He has all the tools to be a dynamic No. 8 or even a 10 if needed. Those are two crucial roles under Arne Slot so if he is given a real shout, don't be shocked if he really explodes in 2024-25.

He will have his work cutout for him battling with Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo, Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones, not to mention any potential signings.

Yet, I firmly believe Gravenberch has it in him to be one of the best in this group if all breaks his way.
