Liverpool fans have spent countless hours debating the best players of the Klopp era and beyond, with legends like Salah, Virgil, Alisson and even Suárez gracing the Anfield pitch in the last 14 years.

However, one topic that gets discussed less-frequently, yet is perhaps just as thought-provoking, is the question of who might be the worst players Liverpool have fielded over that timeframe- let's do what we can to answer that query.

4. Loris Karius and Adrian

There might technically be a few worse Liverpool players than these disappointing keepers, but it's hard to argue that many have hurt the club more.

Karius needs little introduction- his generational blunders in the 2018 Champions League final handed Real Madrid yet another title, and may have cost Liverpool a truly magical ending to one of football's great recent underdog stories.

His level of ineptitude was truly shown by just how big of a step forward the club took with Alisson in the net; a great keeper truly was the missing piece all along.

As for Adrian, he had his moments, but was extremely problematic in some big spots, like the 2020 Champions League home leg against Atlético Madrid, a match that some believe him to have lost nearly singlehandedly.

While it's understandable that he was nowhere near Alisson's level, he was even starkly outperformed by Caoimhin Kelleher, never providing the veteran steadiness that was expected of him when he came to Anfield.
