The 2023-24 season for Liverpool was a microcosm of perseverance through adversity. Whether it was a plethora of injuries, a leaky defense on occasion, Jürgen Klopp announcing his departure and more, this club was put through the ringer.
That they won a trophy and finished 3rd in the Premier League to reaffirm their Champions League status is a credit to the whole squad, and I mean whole squad.
However, there were some players that burst onto the scene this season and look to have much bigger roles to play going forward. I've ranked the four players that raised their stock the most.
4. Caoimhin Kelleher - GK
When Alisson went down with a long-term muscle injury, there was some concern over Liverpool's ability to stay steady at the back. We all knew Kelleher was the best No. 2 in England, but he had never been given a true run of games at Anfield.
The Republic of Ireland international more than rose to the challenge as there was barely a drop-off in the level in goal.
He made countless important save after important save and was a big reason the Reds overcame Chelsea to win the League Cup.
Now, he did cede the job back to Alisson when the latter was fit once again, but at worst, Kelleher added at least £10m to Liverpool's asking price to any potential suitors this summer.
If he stays, it's great depth and insurance once again and if he leaves he should net a nice fee for the club to reinvest.
